How can I convert a round power adapter to positive and negative wires?
Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out how to convert a round power adapter like this one: http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00HMFElZuKafpQ/6-12w-Us-Plug-Switching-Power-Adapter.jpg to just a positive and negative wire. I could always solder the wires directly to it I suppose, but I'm looking for something more proper such as an adapter of some sort. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Those are called barrel plugs. What you need is a inline barrel socket. Try here:
