It's called a "mini" keyboard, and that's precisely what the Rii is. Naturally, I'm referring to the size in comparison to a regular computer keyboard - and it's a good deal smaller. Virtually all typical computer keyboard are roughly 18in x 2in x 8in, but this unit is only 5.9 inches by 2.3 inches by 0.5 inches and weighs only 3.2 ounces. It's light and small, which makes it great for individuals on the move since it's so handy to carry with you. Typing is quite easy on this small device, which fits easily between your hands.
You are able to use the Rii with gaming systems like PS3 or wiki, and with desktop PCs and laptop computers. Numerous devices are wireless now, so the Bluetooth wireless USB receiver on this keyboard makes linking it to your electronics easy. The Rii features the common QWERTY layout, as well as the convenience of a touchpad like those we know from laptops. There are also 26 LED lights built into this product for when the surrounding lighting is not bright enough. This mini keyboard is furnished standard with two rechargeable lithium ion batteries, which power it up.
The majority of product users on Amazon (of which there are a lot) have given 4 and 5 star ratings to this mini keyboard. However, as suggested by a quantity of 1,2 and 3 star votes, the keyboard may first seem great but prove to be less so over time. One reviewer mentioned that the device connected to his Ubuntu system without any troubles and worked fairly well within a 30ft range, but any further than that and it stopped working right. However, thirty feet is quite adequate. If you are thinking of using this mini keyboard for multimedia purposes then you'll be happy to know that there are buttons for volume and playlist control. Sometimes, one wants a button that is not usually needed; it's great that this keyboard caters for some of those occasional needs which can be frustrating if not met.
Of Course, this review would not be complete if it did not mention the negatives. The touchpad works quite well; however, it can be a bit of a pain in the neck as it isn't always precise, unlike most regular laptop touchpads. The touchpad likewise has issues with recognizing taps; nonetheless, there are two mouse buttons, left and right, which can be used alternatively. It is also worth noting that the keys are directly underneath each other, and not 50% offset as we are used to with the typical keyboards. This isn't a big issue; still, it takes a bit of getting used to.
All things considered, this is a great device if you're in the market for a smaller size that also features a mouse touchpad. There are a couple of small minuses but the upsides outweigh them, especially at such a reasonable price.

I would like to buy a keyboard but I am confused on whether to buy a Casio CTK-2000 keyboard or a Yamaha PSR E-313. Personally, I prefer the Yamaha PSR series (such as the E313) over a Casio CTK. They're sturdier and sound much better.
