Tips To Remember When Transforming Your Bedroom Into Your Very Music Studio
Technological innovations among computer systems and sound-ware now make it possible to have a basic home studio at home. The great thing is, setting up a basic home studio is not that financially demanding. The kinds of equipment and software you need depend greatly on the kind of musical style you would like to produce. If you intend to put up your own music studio in your house, there are a handful of items that you need to get.
The first thing equipment you need to have is computer. Whether you go for PC or Mac doesn’t really matter. What matters most is if the system is compatible with the pieces of equipment you intend to connect it with. Fortunately, ascertaining equipment compatibility is no longer difficult to do. You merely have to go online and read the system requirements of the MIDI hardware you intend to use and check if your computer can support it. Casio piano with MIDI-support make recording and mixing music easier and faster.
Another requisite to having a home music studio is a music production application. Like peripherals, your software should be compatible to your computer. You also have to purchase a sound card. Most computers have onboard sound cards, however if you want to get crisper, higher quality songs you need to find one that's specially made for the job.
No home studio is complete without hardware controllers like MIDI keyboards. Casio pianos have an extensive array of MIDI keyboards you can choose from, ranging from beginner systems to advanced workstations. For newbies, CTK2100 is a good choice. MIDI keyboards, like CTK2100, links to your PC or Mac through a USB or FireWire port.
You also have to get speakers, and this is one equipment you should not be too penny-pinching. Time and time again we hear of people reporting that the music they produced or recorded at home sounded differently when played in another device. Hence, you should get a speaker that can accurately represent what you have recorded. Alternatively, you may get a good set of headphones. When selecting one, go for light headphones that are comfortable to wear for long periods. If you intend to record vocals, get a microphone as well. There are two kinds of microphones available and these are dynamic or condenser varieties. Condenser microphones cost more, but they do offer better quality sound than dynamic ones.
However, one has to remember that these sound-ware are only as exceptional as their user. Talent and commitment would have to be the most important requirements in starting a home studio.

Answer:
Sounds fairly good... see if you can swap that keyboard and mouse for cabled... wireless is rubbish and a pain in the arse when it starts not working.
